roaming question???

i have an alltel phone.. whenever i dont have any bars im not roaming. when i do have bars, im roaming. why?

Answers:

1the phone must always be roaming. the reason it doesnt say roaming is because its not getting enough reception to even know its roaming. you can set up your phone to only make roaming calls when you accept it first
